EL CASO DE UN PACIENTE ADOLESCENTE CON ADN DE HOMBRE Y DE MUJER ENVÍA AL EQUIPO EN DISTINTAS DIRECCIONES.

El equipo encuentra a un niño que se desmayó debido a un dolor pélvico agudo después de jugar basketball. Las pruebas revelan que tiene mosaicismo genético, posee ADN masculino y femenino; los padres informan a House y al equipo que el niño ignora su condición. Ellos conscientemente escogieron un género para él cuando nació y lo criaron acorde, nunca contándole sobre su condición única. Sin embargo, cuando su salud empeora y su vida es amenazada, los padres se preguntan si hicieron la decisión correcta.

Entretanto, Cuddy y Wilson sospechan que algo está mal con House cuando comienza a actuar mucho más amable.
